Hello! I am a 1983 graduate of Dolgeville Central School. I received my
Associates degree from Herkimer County Community College in 2003 and my
Bachelors degree from Utica College in 2005. I received my Masters
degree from Walden University in 2007. I live in Dolgeville with
my husband Allan(Skip)and son, Korey. We have been married for 26 years and
have two children. My daughter, Mallory is 24 and son Korey who is 20 and
attends Utica College where he is pursuing a degree in English. He wants to
become a high school English teacher and coach baseball as well as become an
author someday. I also have a 1 year old grandson named Micheal who is the
apple of grandma's eye. I love to travel and experience new and exciting
adventures. In my spare time I enjoy reading, listening to music, lounging
by the pool, spending time with my friends, and watching baseball (Go New
York Yankees).
I am excited about meeting and teaching each child this year and look
forward to getting to know each and everyone of them. I will do my best to
make learning fun and exciting for your child so that they continue to love
school. If you have and concerns and need to contact me for any reason
throughout the school year feel free to do so.
It is my goal to help each student begin to prepare themselves for the life
long journey of becoming model citizens, so they may one day be successful
future leaders. I will strive to provide each student an adequate
learning environment where they may develop from several different
opportunities presented in the classroom. At the same time I will encourage
a variety of techniques and perspectives so each style of learning can be
attained. The classroom I wish to maintain will be vibrant, inviting,
stimulating, challenging, yet firm and fair where each child will look
forward to returning each day to learn.
