We are currrently working on writing responses to literature. The students had a choice of 3 writing activities following the reading of the novel "Amber Brown is not a Crayon". Next week we will go back to some nonfiction writing. The students will be introduced to opinion writing. They will learn how to support their opinions with information from the text.
