I believe teaching is one of the most rewarding jobs and I have loved every
minute of my 17 years teaching at Fairfield Elementary! I grew up in
Massapequa and even attended Fairfield. My first grade classroom is the one
that I teach in now! I love to read and learn new things- that is one of the
reasons why I became a teacher. When I am not teaching or taking classes, my
favorite thing to do is spend time with my family. My husband, Joe, and I
live in Massapequa and have two daughters: Gabriella is 12 and Claudia is 9.
We also have a black labrador named Scout. Our family loves to travel, play
sports and spend time together!
My goal is to enhance learning opportunities for students by providing an
environment where each student's natural love for life and learning are
encouraged, nurtured and intrinsically instilled so that students will be
lifelong learners. Academic goals will be differentiated to meet the needs
of each individual learner. I will strive to create a strong sense of
community while creating a caring, safe and respectful environment.
