I have wanted to work with kids my entire life. From the day I was
born my mother ran a daycare center in our house, so being surrounded by
children is part of my life. I got my bachelors degree at St.Lawrence
University, where I double majored in History and Psychology. I then went
to SUNY New Paltz for my masters degree in Elementary Education.
I grew up right across the Hudson River near New Paltz. I live with my
husband Erik, my 4 year old son Collin, and my 2 year old daughter Ava. I
have a Dad and Mom, two brothers, one sister, a sister and brother-in-
law,three nieces, and a nephew. We just got a new addition to our
family...an American Bulldog named Max! I also love reptiles and have a
snake at home named Chavez and a beta fish named Kermit.

This will be my eighth year teaching, but my first in 3rd grade. I am so
happy to work with a different age group and explore a new curriculum. Third
grade is filled with challenging academics, lively projects that are exciting
and hands-on, and great kids who are eager to learn and have fun!
Our mission is to learn a ton while having as much fun as possible!
