It's October already?!  The first month has gone by so quickly!  This month we will be learning lots of new things.  Check it out:

Science: Tools, measurement, and Fall

Fundations: Long and short vowels, digraphs, syllables

Math: Addition and subtraction

Writer's Workshop: Responding to literature, capitalization and punctuation of sentences

Reading: Working on fluency (reading like we are talking), word attack strategies
