I graduated in 2002 from Mount Saint Mary College with a Bachelor's of
Science Degree in Education. I left MSMC with a dual certifcation in
Elementary Education and Special Education. I also went to Mercy
College to obtain a Master's Degree of Science in Literacy. I began teaching
as a Special Education Teacher in Wappingers in September of 2002.I taught
Special Education for three years. This is my fourth year as a first grade
teacher. I am very lucky to be a part of Fishkill Elementary.
I have been married for five years. My husband's name is Mike. He is also
a teacher and enjoys coming in to help out my class! We have a little girl,
Grace Anna who is 3 years old and our baby boy, Michael who is 1 year old.
We also have a black and white dog named Popeye. I look forward to
sharing lots of stories about Grace, Michael and Popeye
with you!
My mission for our class is to provide a fun learning environment. I want to
show you that if you try your hardest you will succeed.
