Just to let you know, we have started to review 'Trick' words from First grade. Students need to be able to recognize them in their reading and spell them correctly in their writing. We will continue reviewing for several weeks and then begin working with new Second Grade 'Trick' words. I will send a letter when we start with a weekly list of words for students to learn.
Please remember that it is very important for your children to get a good night of sleep and eat a healthy breakfast each day. We begin working as soon as they arrive in the morning and really pack a great deal into every single day. It is also very important that they do their homework each night as it serves as a review of what is being taught during the day.
