The Creative Writing Club meets every Tuesdays after school in A301.
Come and write in a relaxed setting with other students who enjoy writing.
Prompts are available as needed by both student members and advisors, Mrs.
Sarna and Mr. Reed.
Recent club activities include bake sale fundraisers for hurricane
relief, an open mic led by a nationally-known poet, annual writing retreat
weekend, and workshops run by local writers. Publication
information and details about writing contests are made available.

The Tenth Annual Fox Lane High School Writing Retreat is scheduled for
Oct. 14-16 at Major Bowes Retreat House in Ossining, NY. Author, performance
poet and workshop facilitator will be Ralph Nazareth. The full cost for the
weekend is $150...Scholarships are available. Mark your calendar now! There
