I am going to check your notes, a written report (1 page), a
works cited, and a bibliography. You must demonstrate your ability to
paraphrase, quote and cite information. You must also avoid plagiarism at all
costs! This is due with your reader's notebook on 10-31-11.
Due Oct 6 Essay revisions…Bring both drafts to hand in next class.
Make sure they are labeled: Draft #1 and Final copy…Changing the date in your
heading is always a good idea as well to keep each draft in order. We will
start our new unit next class.
Keep in mind I am also looking at your ability to embed quotations in your
writing. Books are due with this essay as well.
