SNAPSHOT OF THE WEEK:
E.L.A- We are focusing on Informational Text (non-fiction material) Please
encourage your child to skim the newspaper, read appropriate magazines and
other forms of informational text. Ask them how informational text is
different from realistic fiction (which many are use to reading).
Monday's continue to be designated for E.L.A. Test prep. This week students
will be introduced to the very last part of the test. Students will also
begin learning test-taking strategies.
Math- Unit 4- Multiplication!
S.S.- Ancient Egypt Unit; Students continue to learn more facinating
information about Ancient Egypt. They are loving this unit! Students should
continue working on their project at home.
Science- We are taking a break until January.
Writing- Students will begin writing their Egypt reports.
Cursive-We have finished our first & second cursive packet called Clock
Climbers and Loop Groups. We have moved into our third packet.

Spelling test Friday. Check out the spelling link on the website.
Egypt projects are due Monday, December 21st.
Please wrap any gently used toys or clothes and donate them to the
Schenectady City Mission. I will be delivering these items to the Mission
December 22nd.
