Rocket Math is a great technique to get kids excited about practicing their
math facts. Each student will receive a paper rocket with various levels.
Students will be required to complete 40 math facts in 2 1/2 minutes. If all
problems are complete and correct, the student can color in their level and
move up to the next level!
This is an opportunity for students to race against the clock, set goals, and
visually record their progress throughout the year! Students who struggle to
successfully complete 40 problems will work with me to set a more appropriate
goal to achieve success! Those students who are consistantly meeting their
goals may be encouraged to beat a faster time of 1 1/2 or 2 minutes!
