*  ALWAYS BRING WITH YOU TO CLASS:
        2 - BLUE OR BLACK ballpoint pens		
        3-ring binder -- for handouts and looseleaf
        Current reading materials
        LARGE SUPPLY of loose-leaf paper  - keep in your binder

*    HELPFUL SUPPLIES TO HAVE ON HAND,IN SCHOOL/AT HOME
  
        STAPLER (This is essential!)		Highlighter	
        Report folders           		Paper clips	
        Colored pencils/markers                 Blank CD's
        USB Flash Drive
		
2. CLASSROOM PROCEDURES:

*  When the bell rings, please be seated at your desk with all 
   necessary materials.
*  On the board you will see:
           DATE:
           GOAL:
           DO NOW:
           HOMEWORK:

*  Please write these immediately on loose-leaf in your  
   binder; this is an assignment you are to begin at once.
*  Please be on time to class.
*  At the end of class each day you will respond to a "prompt" which 
   will help me to assess how well you have paid attention in class 
   and participated in our activities.  This is the EXIT PASS.
   Everyone must complete this before ANYONE leaves the classroom.

3. CLASSROOM BEHAVIOR:

*  Please use common courtesy and respect.  You are young adults and 
   I will expect you to behave as such.  Show to others the same 
   respect that you expect from them.  Each of you has the right to 
   make a statement -- or to disagree.  I only ask that you be 
   polite.  
*  Absolutely NO "put-downs" or ignorant, rude remarks.
*  You must sign out before you leave the room for any reason.  
*  Only one person may be out of class at any given time.
