Attention Parents!
Welcome to my class!
Just a little note to let you know what your son or daughter is up to. We are just finishing a unit on the Holocaust and the book Night by Elie Wiesel. On Monday your child will attend a presentation put on by Judy Roth Child, a Czechoslovakian Holocaust survivor. We will then watch the movie Swing Kids and complete an essay on the book and the movie.
Coming up we are reading Shakespeare. We read Shakespeare entirely in class and during this time I give very little homework. I am assigning your child an independat reading project that will be due in several weeks (I will post a date soon). Please make sure your son or daughter gets a non-fiction book by November 17th.
