We have homework every night in second grade. Each day your child will
come home with a homework folder. Letters home and corrected work will be
on one side. A homework slip, and any other work will be on the other
side. Please have your child complete the work and return
it to school the next day.
Your child should be able to do the homework independently. Please check
it for errors and have them correct it before sending it back to school.
I give the children one extra day to complete missed homework. Please
have your child read at least 20 minutes each night from the assigned
reading envelope or from books at home.
