About Mrs. Scarfone
Welcome! I can't believe that I have been allowed to graduate to
second grade. I am overjoyed to be teaching my favorite grade again.
This is my tenth year in the Carmel School District. I have
taught first, second, and fourth grades. Before becoming an elementary
school teacher I taught ballet, modern dance and yoga at Hunter College in
New York City for 22 years. I live in Somers, NY with my husband of 31
years and dog, Penny. My daughter, Jessica, is currently in an accelerated
program at SUNY Binghamton to become a registered nurse. I love being part of
the wonderful Matthew Paterson family and am looking forward to another
exciting year of teaching!
