2008-2009

 

Keshequa offers a traditional high school program for approximately 253 students in grades 9 through 12.  Programs include college preparatory, trade and technical areas.  Students have the opportunity to participate in college-level courses taught by adjunct professors of Genesee Community College. These academic studies take place in the high school classroom and upon successful completion a student will earn transferable college credit. One and two- year half-day vocational programs are offered in numerous career areas at the Genesee Valley BOCES Vocational Center. Students will meet all New York State requirements for either a Regents or Advanced Regents Diploma.

Grade point average (GPA) and class rank are based on all traditionally graded courses. The highest repeat grade only is figured in the GPA.  Class rank is based on all students receiving a regular Regents or Advanced Regents diploma.  College-level courses are weighted by adding five percent of the ten week grade to the class average.
