      Behave appropriately in the classroom and hallways.

My rules are simple and all-encompassing. Our goal as a class is to prevent behavior problems from occurring by meeting these expectations every day. When my expectations for students are not being met, I will use my discretion to vary the consequences according to the severity of the behavior. Consequences may include loss of privileges (e.g., recess), Time Out, or a phone call to the student's parent/guardian. In response to serious behavior problems, I may move directly to a parent phone call or administrative discipline.
