| For the week of 10/6 - 10/10:
Mrs. Mace will not be available on Monday and Tuesday due to
obligations at school. However, all crew please stay with all
the other crews that will be staying. She WILL be there on
Wednesday after 3:30pm. Friday's schedule is tentatively from
2:30 until rehearsal is over. Mrs. Mace may need to leave
earlier.
Please DO plan to meet on Wednesday, 10/8. We have
the rehearsal schedule now, and we need to plan our schedule
around that. Please DO read the play, and attend rehearsals so
you can get a "feel" for each of the characters and how they
should be portrayed. Also DO plan to meet with costume crew when
they "map" each character. This will also help us get a sense of
what we need to do.
You should PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE doing corrective make
up so that you can do it quickly and well, and also so that you
can train less experienced "artists" AND the actors themselves.
Please remember that the only people in the make up room should be
make up crew or their "models." Too many other people make it
a social gathering where little is accomplished. You should be
having FUN -- but you should also be responsible! :)I trust that
you will make wise choices! :)
Please remember to CLEAN UP, and to keep commitments to being
here-
EVERYONE OF YOU IS IMPORTANT to the success of this play.
On Friday, 10/17 we will have a cast "MAKE UP DAY" where we demo
how to do basic corrective make up and train the cast to begin to
do their own. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you be there! (And that
you know how to do it yourself... so be practicing!) Between now
and then, we will watch a few videos of this stype of make up as
well as how to do basic age make up, and you should take every
opportunity to practice -- on yourself and on others! If there
are no "models" available, then do your own make up!
YAY, MAKE-UP!!
See you on Wednesday, 10/8!! :)
