How much time is asked of volunteers?

We do not require a specific time amount; only that you let us know ahead of time so we
can make a schedule for other volunteers to take over.

How do I tell the PTA I want to volunteer?

First, become a member for $5.00. All PTA organizations are NON-PROFIT
and function though their volunteers. The membership fee is sent to
the National PTA and the New York State PTA.
This membership fee allows the PTA as a whole to represent our children
in the making of laws and in the educational forums.

Second, you can contact us by sending a note to school with your child,
OR email your wish to join by using the left sidebar:CONTACT US
OR email to libertyPTA@libertyk12.org,
OR come to one of the OPEN HOUSES or monthly meetings.

We always need volunteers at our events and try to make it fun.

What if I can't spare the time or hate meetings?

Sometimes a simple thing like checking our website for upcoming
events can keep you informed about our PTA events.

How are the meetings organized?

We have Bylaws that we must follow and that includes Robert's
Rules of Order. Our meetings have agendas and are kept to a
specific time frame. We know that everyone is busy and has places
to go and people to see. We will not waste your time.
