Egg Crash Car Project The Middle School Technology
Program and Mr. South applied for
this award this summer after
attending several professional
development courses. The award was
based on a write up for Mr. South's
Egg Crash car project. The
students� research, design, build,
test and evaluate their Egg Crash
Cars. In the past Mr. South has
used his own equipment to record
the crashes to playback in slow
motion for the students to analyze
the crash.
"I wanted to use this award as a
teachable moment. Building on my
own excitement I assigned the
students to research technology
from Best Buy that would enhance
