I have a Bachelor of Science Degree from SUNY Oneonta in Elementary
Education and a Masters Degree in Elementary Education also from SUNY
Oneonta. This is my seventh year teaching at Laurens Central School. Prior to
coming to Laurens, I taught in Oneonta for two years.
I have lived in Oneonta for the past 18 years with my husband and
two children. My husband works for SUNY Oneonta, my daughter is a Jr.
at SUNY Oneonta, and my son is a freshman at SUNY Brockport. I have been
active in the community as a soccer coach, Girl Scout leader, Team Parent for
Oneonta Little League, and a board member of the Oneonta Nursery School.
A goal we have in first grade is to help students become more independent
and this begins by teaching students about “choices.”
