I live just outside Oneonta with my husband, 6 year old son, named
Brock, and 4 year old daughter, named Brooke. I have a 4 year old dog
named Brody and two cats - Haley and Bella. I have lived
in the area all my life. I have taught 3rd grade for the past few years,
but I am excited to teach kindergarten this fall!
I graduated from SUNY Oneonta with my Bachelor's Degree in elementary
education. I earned my Master's Degree in Literacy from Walden University.
I am also a graduate of Laurens Central School. When I attended
school at Laurens, I played soccer and was involved in band, chorus, and
various clubs.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my son, daughter, and husband.
I believe that every student can be successful, and I hold high expectations
for each student. I expect you to try your best in all we do in class, and
show respect for everyone around you. We can learn a great deal by
experience and "doing"...show respect for yourself and your classmates so we
can learn together in fun, cooperative ways! :)
