What supplies will I need for class?
1. A notebook or binder dedicated to math only
2. Folder with pockets for handouts
3. Scientific Calculator (TI-30XSII)
4. Looseleaf paper for homework
5. Pencil and handheld sharpener
6. Pen
What if I am absent?
1. In order for the absence to be considered an excused absence,
you must bring in a written note.
2. Time to make up work is according to the number of days absent
(one day absent, one day to make up the assignment, etc.)
3. If you miss a TEST, you will be expected to take it when you
return to school.
What about late work?
Late homework will receive a grade of zero. Homework needs to be
in class with you on the date it is due. Every question needs to be attempted.
Homework is graded on effort.
How will my grade be calculated?
Quarter grades are based on the following :
The total points earned divided by the toal points possible.
Final Grade is computed:
(Q1 + Q2 + Q3 + Q4 + Final Exam) / 5
