What if I forgot a book/worksheet needed to do my HW?

Call a reliable friend and have them read the questions only to 
you.

What if I don't understand my math HW?

Look in your math notebook.  Your notes will have step by step 
instructions
and an example. If you're still not sure, call a reliable friend
to help or
ask an adult or older sibling at home.

Can I make up missing work?

The LMS HW guidlelines state that missing HW can be accepted one 
day after it
is due with a 25% penalty. After one day it will be accepted for
evaluation
purposes only.

How can I practice for a math chapter test?

Read through your math notebook and practice example problems on 
scrap
paper. Be sure to do the review homework that was assigned.
Perhaps have an
adult or older sibling at home check it over.

Can I retake a test?

There are no retakes of tests.  All students are expected to 
prepare for each
test and complete it to the best of their ability.

Can I do extra credit?

No.  All students are expected to complete all assignments to the 
best of
their ability.

The NYS math assessment is in May 2010.

What is the best way to prepare for the NYS math assessment?

Of course the best practice is to pay attention all year in math 
class!
Seriously! Another way to practice throughout the year is the
Castle
Learning Online site (formerly School Island). Use your LMS user
name and
password.
