TO OUR STUDENTS: Please take time to read this!
SUPPLIES: A Carpenter needs his tools each day (hammer, nails, etc.) in order to do their job. You need your tools (paper, pencils, etc.) each day so that you can do your job. Come to school prepared to work. This also shows that you are responsible.
ENTERING/LEAVING CLASSROOM: You may not leave the classroom without permission. When permission has been granted, you will use a "Sign-out/Sign-In" sheet. A pass will then be given to you. Please exit and enter the classroom quietly so that other students are not distracted from learning. You may see the nurse only if it is an emergency.
BACKPACKS, ELECTRONIC DEVICES, ETC: Backpacks, toys,handbags,
electronic devices, coats, hats, etc. are not allowed in the classroom. These items may distract other students from learning. Please keep your personal belongings in your assigned locker. You may keep a sweater in your locker to use in case the room becomes chilly. Sharing lockers with other students is not allowed in school.
MONEY: Bring only the amount of money that you will need each day for lunch/snacks. You are responsible for your money.
Do not allow other students to take money from you.
Do not give your money to other students.
If you are being forced to give your money to other students, tell an adult immediately!!
The school will attempt to assist you in putting a stop to it!
ATTITUDE/BEHAVIOR: You are in school to learn; not to fool around, tease, physically hurt, steal, or distract other students from learning. Try your best to have a positive attitude towards work and towards other students. Be nice. Be respectful. Be a problem solver; not the problem. Have patience; it may take a long time for you to learn how to master a certain skill in any subject area. Be patient with others; they are also trying to learn.
REMEMBER: BULLIES ARE NOT TOLERATED IN SCHOOL!
