I grew up in Flushing, Queens and graduated from Flushing High School. After
graduating,I attended Queens College and graduated "cum laude" with a
Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Childhood Education.I then attended SUNY at
New Paltz University (NY) and received my Master's Degree with dual
certification (Childhood Education/Special Education)from SUNY at New Paltz
University.
I had various jobs since the age of 16 and throughout my educational
training. I was a legal secretary, camp director, dictaphone
operator,ceramics teacher, hotel cleaning dept., and salesperson (just to
name a few). The various jobs which I had taught me valuable lessons about
everyday life (eg.: working with others, empathy, responsibility, problem
solving,following directions,etc.).
The mission of the Liberty Central School District is to inspire all students
to pursue their dreams and to contribute and thrive in a diverse community.
