Massapequa is more than just where Mrs. Markowski teaches- she also grew up
here and loved it so much she moved back when she got married! "Mrs.M"
came from the business world and worked with Trans World Airlines for
many years so she could travel to varying parts of the world.
After a career change, Mrs. M. began teaching in Massapequa 15 years ago.
She has taught 4th and 5th grade. Mrs. Markowski is a graduate of Hofstra
University and, after getting her masters, returned to do additional course
work in order to attain certification to teach gifted education.
She spent the last three years teaching in the Magnet program.
Mrs. Markowski is thrilled to be at Lockhart where her husband went to
school as a youngster.
