Welcome Back Breakfast Contest
Someday, I’ll be … How would you finish that sentence? We want to know!
One winner will be chosen by a panel of teachers from each of the grade level categories below. On your own, or as a class assignment, complete the criteria for your grade and submit your completed entry to Miss Albert by Monday, September 19. Please put your name and grade on the back of your entry.
K-2- Draw a picture of what you will be doing in the future. Your caption should be a complete sentence and begin with “Someday, I’ll be.”
Grades 3-5- Write a paragraph about what you will be doing and where you will be in 20 years. Your paragraph should begin with “Someday, I’ll be,” and include the following:
· what your job will be
· where you will be living
· whether or not you will have your own family
· other information you may want to include
Grades 6-8- Write a paragraph about what you will be doing and where you will be in 20 years. Your paragraph should begin with “Someday, I’ll be,” and include the following:
· what your job will be
· where you will be living
· whether or not you will have your own family
· tell us where you think the kids who didn’t appreciate your unique qualities or talents (or the qualities and talents of others) will be in 20 years. Do you think they will have changed, or will they still be mean? Why or why not?
· other information you may want to include
