What if my child didn't do their homework?

The first time your child doesn't do their homework they will be 
given a free pass. This means that they won't have to stay in for 
recess to complete the assignement. But, if your child has does 
not complete their homework on more than one occasion then they 
will have to stay in for recess to do it. If homework is not 
completed on a regular basis then a more serious consequence will 
be put into action.

Does my child need a blue slip for?

Everytime that your child will be staying after for a club or 
being picked up differently then there normal dismissal procedure 
they will have to bring in a blue slip that day. If your child is 
in a club they cannot bring in one blue slip to be used for the 
entire time that the club is taking place. Your child should 
bring 
in a blue slip each week for the club.

How is my child doing in 4th grade?

Don't feel that you need to wait until report cards come out to 
have a conversation with me.

Please either send me a note in with your child, call the school 
and I am extension 144, or email me at kbellmore@menands.org
I will respond to you within 24 hours of recieving the message.
