Welcome to Seventh Grade Music!

STOMP it out!

In their final year of music instruction, seventh graders learn about the more uncommon methods of music production. We do a STOMP unit where we create our own performances using "found sounds." We will use programs like Garage Band to create and re-mix music. We will listen to composers who are "a little out there" so we can have the classic discussion: "What makes it music?"

It is my hope to one day start a keyboard lab and begin piano instruction in the classroom.
