| The school day is from 7:50 am - 2:40 pm. Students are dismissed from buses
at 7:50 am and report directly to their classrooms. If you prefer, you may
drop your child off instead. Students can be dropped off no earlier than
7:45 am. They are to wait quietly in the main lobby. There is no adult
supervision before 7:45 am.
We will continue to use the same arrival procedure as we did last year.
Students in kindergarten and grade 1 will be dismissed first and will enter
the building through the doors closest to the kindergarten classrooms. We
will then dismiss three buses at a time until all buses are dismissed.
Students in kindergarten through grade 2 will enter through the kindergarten
doors, students in grades three through five will enter through the main
entrance and students in sixth grade will enter through the sixth grade doors.
If you are going to drop off your student please make your first left after
you pull into the parking lot and proceed up the hill. Drop your child off
at the walkway closest to the school and drive around the parking lot and
back down the hill. We ask that you do not pull into the main parking lot
during drop off so that the buses can park and dismiss the students.
Dismissal begins at 2:30 pm.
The front parking lot is closed to parents and visitors between 7:30 am to
8:15 am and between 2 pm to 2:45 pm daily. Please park by the side entrance
during these times.
Student Pick Up Policy:
For safety and security reasons we have instituted a student pick-up policy.
We ask your help in following the instructions we have listed below.
1. Send a note to school with your child on the day that you wish to pick
him/her up early or at dismissal.
2. Upon arrival, check in at the welcome desk and proceed to the main
office. You will have to show a valid I.D. in the main office.
3. You will then receive a "Pick Up Pass" which you will take to Cafeteria 2.
4. After giving this pass to the teacher on duty your child will be released
to you. YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE RELEASED TO ANYONE UNLESS THAT PERSON HAS A
PICK-UP PASS.
5. If you have requested someone other than yourself to pick up your child,
this information must be on the note and that person will have to show ID.
6. If you have an emergency and must pick up your child we ask that you call
prior to coming in.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS SO THAT WE KNOW WHERE
YOUR CHILD IS AT ALL TIMES. WE ASK THAT YOU DO NOT WAIT IN THE MAIN LOBBY
AND
TAKE YOUR CHILD AS HE/SHE COMES DOWN.
