| School Citizenship
As a citizen of Myers School Community, students have not only rights and
privileges, but responsibilities as well. Among these are respect for
knowledge and experience of their teachers, administration, and school
materials, respect for the rights and property of others and loyalty to
friends and our school.
Student Code of Conduct
Each student will be given a Student Code of Conduct on the first day of
school which outlines rules, regulations and disciplinary actions. Teachers
will review rules and procedures during the first week of school with the
classes. Sixth grade students will follow the Secondary Code of Conduct.
The principal and assistant principal will be visiting each classroom to
review the Code of Conduct with the students.
Parents play an important and valuable role in supporting our efforts here at
school. When our staff and parents work together, particularly in the area
of discipline, we are likely to see far better results in the behavior and
attitudes of our students. We appreciate your support as we work together to
promote respect and pride here at Myers Corners Elementary School.
