PACS Jr./Sr. High
CLASS:
9th Grade - Global Studies I
This is my seventh year teaching Global Studies at Pulaski High School. I
love teaching social studies at Pulaski High School and I am excited to
embark on another fun, productive, and successful academic school year. I am
the advisor of the PACS History Club, Student Council, and Mock Trial Team. I
received my B.A. at Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont and my M.A.T.
from Western New Mexico University in Silver City, New Mexico.
When I am not teaching or advising students I enjoy getting involved in
projects that promote awareness of our rich local history. I sit on the
executive board of directors for the Oswego County Historical Society and I
often volunteer to work at the Richardson-Bates House Museum in Oswego.
In addition to seeing me at the museum you might see me kayaking on Sandy
Creek, hiking at Selkirk, or rollerblading by old Fort Ontario in Oswego. I
also enjoy reading , listening to old time radio on NPR, and watching
the History Channel.
My mission for the class is to make sure every student: 1. is given the
opportunity to learn to the best of their ability 2. is prepared to do their
best on the Global Regents Examination
