I came to Pulaski in the fall of 1982.I kept asking myself why I had moved to
the snowbelt. Little did I know that we would rarely, and I mean rarely,
experience a snow day! My responsibilities included teaching English 9 and
what was then called Remedial Writing. While I continue to teach English 9,
the course itself has undergone dramatic changes over the years. Through
workshops I attended, I began to incorporate cooperative learning, learning
styles and a co-teaching method into the classroom environment which also
changed from a 42 minute period to an 90 minute block. My husband and I
decided to make our home here and send our children to PACS. I have never
regretted that decision. Of course, you'd have to ask my children how they
feel about attending the school where their mother teaches. In my free time,
I like to read, travel, and scrapbook our travels.
