The kitten climbed up its first tree and got stuck on the top branch. First, it went up the trunk of the
tree and on up to the 6th branch. A big squirrel scared the kitten and it climbed down 3 branches. A
bird flew at the kitten and scared it again. Now it climbed up 10 branches. The kitten climbed back
down 2 branches and then it went up 4 branches to the very top of the tree. How many branches were
in the tree?
