Please remember that if your child is sent to school and has not fully
recovered from an illness, this is very dangerous for your child and the
other students who will be exposed to the illness. This has been an ongoing
problem relative to student health. We sincerely appreciate your compliance
with this directive.
Physicals will be required for any incoming student, 2nd, 4th, and 7th
grades. Schedule your physicals now to avoid nagging phone calls from the
Health Office in the fall!
Please remember that your child should be free of ANY symptoms of an
infectious illness (fever, vomiting, diarrhea) for a FULL 24 hours before
they return to school. If they have been diagnosed with a contagious
illness such as strep throat or pink eye, they should be on the antibiotics
a COMPLETE 24 hours before returning to school. Please state on your
child's absence note if he/she was diagnosed with strep.
Parents are required to bring in any medicine that their child might need on
the FIRST day of school.
EVEN COUGH DROPS HAVE TO HAVE A DOCTORS ORDER TO BE GIVEN AT SCHOOL!!!!
