REGISTRATION INFORMATION:    
Applicants should be registered members of Saint Denis, Saint Columba or 
Blessed Kateri Parish.  These applications will be considered for placement 
first.  If there are openings available, we will then accept those who are 
not parishioners.
We will need to have the following information: copies of your child's 
Baptismal certificate, birth certificate, record of immunization and 
report card.  There is a $50.00 non-refundable registration fee per family.  
We will also need your Parish envelope number.  If you will be registering a 
student for a grade other than first, please bring a copy of Communion 
Certificate; Reconciliation Certificate; Confirmation Certificate; report 
cards; standardized test scores (ITBS, SRA, etc.) and New York State scores 
(ELA, Math).  Please call the school office at 227-7777 if you have any

If you have forgotten a book or an assignment, please do not return to 
school to pick up your forgotten items.  The school is in use after 
dismissal for Religious Education classes and after-school meetings, and we 
ask you not to disturb the classrooms by this interruption.  

Please do not park in the Convent Parking Lot at any time.  This is the lot 
directly across from Saint Columba Church and where our flag stands.  Exit 
from the Faculty Lot, using Sister Grace's Way behind Room 15 (Faculty 
Parking Lot),exiting on to Route 376. When dropping your children off in the 
morning, you must park in the Faculty Lot and leave via the Faculty Lot.  You 
may not exit via the A&P lot in the morning.   

Please check Emergency Closings on our Home Page for information regarding 
school delays and snow closings.  We do not use our Emergency Relay System 
to inform parents of the closing of School because of inclement weather.  
You need to listen to the local radio stations for our School and, although, 
we may not be mentioned personally, we do fall under the school closings of 
the Wappingers Central School District.  When they are closed for snow, we 
are closed.  When they have a delay for snow, we have a delay.  Hope this 
helps! 
 
As an aside, please remind your children of your "Go Home" plan for them.  
Do they go to a neighbor's home?  Do they have a key to the house?  Reassure 
your children of your particular directives.  When we do have a closing 
after the children have arrived to School, it is impossible for students to 
call parents and ask what they are to do or where they are to go.  

Only Supervisory Parents are permitted to be in our building at lunchtime.  
If you need to visit your child, please stop by the Main Office and pick up 
a "Visitor's Pass."  You will need to sign the sign-in book when you arrive 
and when you leave.   

With regard to pick up times:  If you need to pick your child up from School, 
please arrive at 2:30 P.M.  Your children will be dismissed to you at 2:35 
P.M.  For an 11:30 A.M. dismissal-please arrive at 11:15 A.M.  Your children 
will be dismissed to you at 11:20 A.M.  For a Noon dismissal-please arrive at 
11:30 A.M.  Your children will be dismissed to you at 11:35 A.M.
