Spelling


Mondays - Students will take a pretest in school.  This is not
graded. It is simply for the students to see which spelling words for the week they already know, and which ones they need to study.
   
    Homework:  Students will write each spelling word that they spelled incorrectly on the pretest 5 times each.
 
   Tuesday Homework:  Students will write words #1-10 in complete sentences.
 
   Wednesday Homework:  Students will write words #11-20 in complete sentences.
 
   Thursday Homework:  Students will study spelling words.
 
Friday - Students will take a graded spelling test on the words for the week.
 
 
* A variety of activities will take place in the classroom during the week utilizing the spelling words.
