I was born in Yonkers, New York, but moved to Buchanan, New York when I was
in the eighth grade. I attended Catholic school for almost 8 years. After
that, I went to Hendrick Hudson High School in Montrose, New York. I enjoy
teaching ESL at Sheafe Road for several reasons. First, I love learning
about the different cultures of my students. Second, the staff at Sheafe
Road has been great.
Our goal in ESL is to help our students learn English while maintaining
their native language in order for them to succeed academically and be active
participants in the U. S.
