This rotation, we will continue to focus on "Core Measures" of Quality, as defined by the Joint Commision for Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS).  The current three "core measures" of inpatient quality care are:  Community Acquired Pneumonia, CHF, and Acute MI.
