Our goal in Pre-K is to provide a nurturing, caring and safe learning environment while building
security in your child. We plan to do this through order, continuity, routine and consistency.
We view each child as unique with individual developmental patterns. We
wish to make your child's experience of school an enjoyable and affirmative
one, creating a self-motivated and independent learner while maximizing your
child's natural ability to observe, explore, discover and create.
The philosophy behind our curriculum in the Pre-K 3 and 4 classes is that young children
learn best by doing. Play enables us to achieve these goals of our early childhood curriculum.
Play is the work of young children.
The way we organize the environment, select the materials and talk with your children
are all designed to accomplish the goals of our curriculum and give your child a successful
start in school.
