Students can choose from thousands of books to read and take tests on. Any test that Renaissance Learning creates for an AR quiz, they now have access to. Please encourage your child to read. Kindergarten - We are starting a new project in MaxShow. W will be creating a slideshow with our own drawings of each of the four seasons! 1st Grade - We have found out the color of our classmates's eyes. Now we are taking that information and entering it into MaxCount (younger version of Excel). 2nd Grade - We worked in partners to find the titles of 10 books from our library. Now we are tallying the letters for each of these titles. We are putting that information into MaxCount to create a graph. I wonder which letters are used most often? 3rd Grade - We are inputting data from the surveys we took in our class. From that we will create graphs. 4th Grade - We have written our own circular stories! They have been printed in column form so that we could cut them and connect them to form a circle. They are on display in the Learning Center 5th Grade - We finished our word searches! 6th Grade - We are starting SNAP! We have chosen our main characters. Now we are working with partners, doing research on our 4 states (per set of partners). Next we will be writing the story using that research.  |
