Junior Achievement has begun with Ms. Carol Cook as our volunteer. Carol
has been working in my room for many years now. The second grade program
consists of The Community, unit production, assembly line production, and how
money travels. Don't forget to ask your child about it!
Our room parents are planning a joint Valentine's Party with Ms. Basso's
class for February 14th. We are looking forward to a wonderful time as
always.
In Religion, we spent a great deal of time on the Sacrament of
Reconciliation. Our next chapter focuses on the difference between a mortal
sin and a venial sin. We will be discussing the Ten Commandments as well.
In Science we are beginning our Chapter on Earth, Yesterday and Today.
There will be a project coming home soon to accompany this chapter.
