On Sunday, November 18th, Saint Martin de Porres School hosted its 15th annual Holiday Tea. The girls arrived with their favorite doll or furry friend as well as with the special women in their lives--their moms, grandmothers, and aunts. |

This year's theme was "For the Love of Ladybugs." and those cute little critters could be found everywhere. |

Many followed the red and black theme by coordinating their outfits. |

Some went for the spotted effect . . . |

. . . while others wore ladybugs on their outfits . . . |

. . . or dressed like ladybugs.

Finger sandwiches and sweet treats were the perfect accompaniment to an afternoon of tea. |

The girls made the rounds getting autographs from their friends and teachers. |

They were able to assemble cute felt and bead purses, as well as book marks, at the craft table. |

Each little lady also posed for a photograph with their special guest. |
Santa took time out of his busy schedule to make a special appearance. |

The girls were mesmerized by the Irish step dancers who provided the afternoon's entertainment. |

Ladybug
by Maria Fleming
Ladybugs all dressed in red Strolling through the flowerbed. If I were tiny just like you I'd creep among the flowers too!
Thank you to all of our moms who coordinated and volunteered to make the 2012 Holiday Tea Party such a wonderful and special event.
