Announcements

There are many goals that I have set for our students and hope that with your support we can make this year a success for all of us.  You may contact me at 718.891.9005 with any concerns regarding your child.  :)

Please use your Activation code for the new school website!!! Go to edline.net. If you need your code, contact the school and ask to speak to the grade AP.

Thank you to the parents for coming out for Parent/Teacher conferences.  It was great to meet you!!!  If you were unable to meet with me and would like to discuss your child's progress, please contact the school and leave a message.

Every student should have a Math folder!!! Folders should include all tests, quizzes, handouts, as well as your student contract and supply list!!!

Correction: On Monday, Nov. 16, the students received their access codes for Easy Grade Pro Web, our new school website.  Parents: make sure you ask your child about the code on Monday!

Acuity Assessment: All students have taken this assessment.  Some students may have been discouraged because they saw topics on the test that we have not yet covered.  I assure you we will cover each and every topic in great detail.  The grades will be posted about a week after they are submitted.  I will make an announcement in class and on the website when the grades are posted on ARIS.

Online Student Edition (Impact Textbook)
Go to www.glencoe.com/ose
Access Code: B09E9C4B7A

Click on "Important Documents" to find any useful documents.  A list of all of the vocabulary terms are also posted in this folder.

If any student has reviewed Quiz #1, Quiz #2, or Test #1 and has found that he/she needs help with topics from these assessments, they should see me ASAP.

Students may make-up any HW assignment during the Marking Period for 1/2 credit.  HW notebooks were collected for the first Marking Period and were graded based on the accuracy/student corrections and neatness/organization.

A note to parents:
All tests and quizzes must be signed.

Remember:
All math classwork and homework must be done in pencil!

FYI - The After-School Program offers a Math class for State Test Prep on Thursdays and Fridays for seventh grade.

Students should be reading my comments on their tests/quizzes very carefully.  They should analyze their work and see what their strengths and weaknesses are.  Students may discuss these topics with me.  They should be thinking about goals for the 2nd marking period.
