11/28/11 - After some reflection over the Thanksgiving break, I am changing the assessment re-take policy to reinforce that this is not supposed to be a crapshoot. Re-assessment remains available, but anyone requesting to be assessed again MUST first show that he/she has made a serious effort to increase his/her proficiency on standards that were lacking in the original assessment. This may take the form of answering a self-generated Castle Learning quiz, coming to extra help, working with a tutor,... Lacking such PRIOR effort, you will earn the score of the most recent assessment as opposed to the highest of the two. Re-assessment for Unit 2-2 will be during P3 on Friday 12/2/11.
11/3/11 - First quarter ends 11/14/11. Be sure you hand in all your missing assignments ! You can email them if needed.
10/27/11 - Manhattan College in Riverdale will be hosting its Engineering Awareness Day for high school students on 11/11/11. See Guidance for details and sign-up info. Lunch will be provided.
10/7/11 - students received an individualized list of missing assignments to be signed by parent/guardian. The progress reports will go out 10/19/11. Any assignments not handed in by 10/12/11 without prior teacher consent for an extension, will negatively impact grades by earning no credit.
9/26/11 - progress reports go out 10/12/11. Make sure you have handed in all assignments by 10/10/11!
