About The Teacher

I received my BA and MS in Music Education from Queens College CUNY. I am an 
active member and past board member with positions of Festival Chairperson, 
Elementary Vice President, and Adjudication Chairperson for the Long Island 
String Festival Association (LISFA). I am also an active member and past 
Festival Chairperson of the Nassau County Music Educator's Association 
(NMEA). I am a member of the New York State School Music Association 
(NYSSMA) as well as a certified NYSSMA Judge.

I have had the honor of guest conducting for the Suffolk All County and Long 
Island String Orchestras! My Chamber Orchestras and I have also had the 
honors of performing for the NYSSMA Major Organization Festival. All 5 groups 
received the Gold With Distinction Award!
