What happens if my child forgets their homework at home?

Students who forget their homework will be recorded as having a
missing assignment. Students have until the next day to complete
the missing assignment. Assinments not made up in a timely
fashion will result in a missing homework grade. Patterns of
missing homework assignments will result in a reduced homework
grade.

Should I return my child's tests?

All quizzes and test are sent home for a signature. This process
is key in keeping informed of your child's grades and progress
within class. Please sign and review each test/quiz with your

My child does not like to read, what should I do?

Many children, especially those who find reading difficult, dread coming home and reading each night. Some possible ideas are to give them small incremnets to read at one time. Also, take turns reading and have your child read one page while they read the next to you. If your child continues to have difficulty, please reach out to me so that we might put a plan in place together to support your child in building success as a reader.
