1. Please remember to check the board daily for all homework assignments.  Please write all assignments in your planner at the beginning of each class period (as soon as you enter class). 

2. Please remember to have your parents sign your planner EVERY Friday!  This counts as part of your homework grade.

3. Please get all test and quiz grades signed the night they are returned to you!  This counts as part of your homework grade.  You should write the grade and what the grade is specifically for in your planner and have your parents/guardians sign right next to the grade.

4.  Please remember to complete all "I - re-do" assignments the night you get them back, and hand them in to me the next day to receive credit.  It is up to you to return these assignments to me.

5. Extra help will be given after school with an appointment. A signed permission slip indicating who you will be going home with and how you will get there is required.  Without a permission slip, you will have to take the regular bus home.

All students will need the following supplies in class on a daily basis:

1. 3 ring binder

2. lots of paper

3. 2 blue or black pens, no felt tip

4. 3" X 5" index cards (for flashcards)

5. 1 box of tissues

It is requested that all students keep the following supplies at home:

1. covered textbook

2. Spanish-English dictionary (optional)

3. colored pencils, crayons, markers (for projects)

 

Your quarterly average will be calculated in the following way:

• 30% quizzes
• 20% tests
• 25% speaking and class participation
• 15% homework
• 10% notebook
