NOTES FROM THE MEETING:
As you know our meeting was shortened by the unforeseen fire alarm.
Thank you
Mr. Parla, Mrs. Belfield, Mrs. Moran and the Board of Ed members for
attending.
Our meeting was shortened and Mr. Parla was not able to complete his report
or Mrs. Moran for the teacher’s report and school and committee reports.
Thank you Pat Sanders who will be our new Special Education Chair, Ann Fadgen
our Publications Chair (Ann will help edit the column) and Anthony LoCicero
who will be our Legislation Chair for volunteering for these assignments.
School Reports – if any PTA President or Council Rep would like to let
everyone know of an important issue or event taking place at their school

Passport- Passport will host its first meeting at Myers on October 16th. If

REMINDERS
· TACONIC FALL CONFERENCE IS SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17TH FROM 12 – 3 PM AT
NEW PALTZ HIGH SCHOOL. SEND REGISTRATION FORM TO TACONIC REGION BY OCTOBER
10TH
· VOLUNTEERS NEEDED– AS YOU KNOW OUR DISTRICT IS VERY PROACTIVE IN
INVOLVING PARENTS ON ALL DISTRICT COMMITTEES.
PARENTS NEEDED TO BE ON THE GRADE 4 – 5 SPELLING COMMITTEE.
THEY WILL MEET FROM 1 – 3 PM ON NOVEMBER 10, DECEMBER 8, JANUARY 12,
FEBRUARY 9, MARCH 9 AND JUNE 15TH.
